No more “inside leg to outside rein” with zero context. You’ll get real-time feedback that helps you connect the dots between what you’re doing and what your horse is showing you.
We work in a small group. No drilling for 45 minutes.
Each exercise is broken into simple, clear pieces.
Instead of chasing “the look,” I’ll help you develop your feel—so you can respond in the moment with clarity.
Confidence in yourself.
Progress without force or fear.

Allison Spangler, ASD Dressage
"Anna provided me with invaluable knowledge and guidance as she has helped me progress from a C2 pony clubber on a quarter horse pony all the way to becoming an HA in pony club and a USDF Silver Medalist. I would highly recommend Anna to anyone looking to improve not only their riding, but also their training ability and their relationship with their horse."

"I no longer need to be the analytical perfectionist"
"I am more aware of the physical and mental barriers that keep me from being the rider I want to be.....and how these barriers affect my horse. I am also more aware of training exercises and resources to help overcome those barriers, and I feel "safe" trying new things and failing when she is teaching me. I no longer need to be the analytical perfectionist I was before I met Anna.
She can tap into a unique blend of skills and knowledge and she is always expanding her knowledge base by virtue of her relentless curiosity and commitment to her craft---her grasp of human anatomy/physiology and biomechanics; natural horsemanship; traditional dressage; and dressage naturally are just a few of them. She is willing to focus on you. Your goals are her goals.....without judgement.
About your clinician 😊
Calm confidence specialist
and
sticky spot decoder.
USDF Bronze Medalist • 30+ Years Professional Experience • Multi-Disciplinary Expert
I've been decoding horses and the problems humans have with them for over 30 years—first as a professional trainer in hunters, jumpers, eventing, and dressage, then as a specialist helping riders overcome their biggest challenges.
My journey began training competition horses across multiple disciplines and retraining off-track Thoroughbreds in professional training barns. I've also started and sold warmbloods of different breeding and disciplines in a professional breeding and sales operation. I found classical dressage while living in Germany and loved it, but like many riders, I've also been frustrated, stuck, and searching for better answers. That search—combined with training hundreds of horses and helping over 50 riders overcome training plateaus—led me to a more intuitive, horse-centered way of learning and teaching.
This approach gets results and keeps the joy alive, whether you're working with a sensitive OTTB, preparing for your first show, or trying to recapture the connection you once had with your horse.
This approach integrates traditional horsemanship with emerging research in equine behavior and neuroscience—creating breakthroughs that feel natural for both horse and rider.Today, I help riders make steady, sustainable progress while actually enjoying their work. My goal?
For every amateur rider to feel confident, safe, and deeply connected when they ride their horse—on their own.

What if I just want to audit?
That's great! When you sign up to audit, you get the same perks that riders get pre and post clinic.
Research shows that we accelerate learning through observation. We also increase our awareness and learn more problem-solving skills. It's often easier to SEE what we need to do when we're off the horse and there is no pressure.
Just bring a chair
instead of your horse 😊
The cost is low, but the benefits are great!
You'll get to see how this fun and collaborative environment works and you'll get to experience the Rider Reset Toolkit, our Follow-Up call, and the Online Community.

This clinic is designed to meet you where you are—no matter your experience level. As a novice rider, you’ll benefit from developing a stronger sense of feel, balance, and communication with your horse, setting a solid foundation for future progress. You’ll gain valuable insights by watching more experienced riders, learning from their challenges and breakthroughs. As we learn to break down movements into their fundamental pieces you'll learn how you can practice higher level concepts at any level!
Even at the highest levels, mastery comes from refining the fundamentals. Breaking down movements into their core elements helps advanced riders uncover subtle imbalances, improve precision; deepening their connection with their horse and unlocking greater ease within more complex work. This process also sharpens mental focus and clarity, helping riders stay present, make better decisions in the moment, and ride with greater confidence and intention.
Additionally, watching lower-level riders provides a fresh perspective—reminding advanced riders of key principles they may have glossed over and offering new insights into problem-solving. Seeing how different horses and riders approach the same challenges can spark breakthroughs in your own training.
Not at all! While dressage provides the foundation for balance, relaxation, and effective communication, the principles you’ll learn in this clinic apply to any discipline. Whether you’re a jumper looking for a smoother, more adjustable ride, an eventer aiming for precision and confidence, or a trail rider who wants to feel more in sync with your horse, this clinic will help you ride with greater ease and connection.
I have personal experience in showing hunters, jumpers, eventing. I have taken horses foxhunting and beach riding and hate to pass up a good trail through quiet woods. I understand how the skills I teach translate across disciplines. No matter what your riding goals are, I’ll help you find flow, build confidence, and enjoy every ride.
